Chu, Teddi, and funny videos

A Chuchu short



"Welcome to Sinnoh's Most Hilarious DVDs, where your disc equals a bunch of ca-"

Paused.

Ah, TiVo. Can't live without it. And Chu couldn't, either, because he'd miss all of his favorite cartoons and animes, like the ones that show up at night when the only people watching are security guards and insomniacs. Through all that, Chu made a schedule, worked with his TiVo, and now he watches all his new shows from 5 PM to 9. It's Monday, which means it's SMHD night with him and Teddi, his Teddiursa friend.

"Teddi, get in here! It's starting!"

Teddi ran in as fast as he could without spilling the big bowl of nachos he and Chu were going to share. He immediately ran back when he realized he forgot the salsa. Yup, every Monday at 5:00 meant lots of laughs in Chu's house, whether it's just him, him and Teddi, him and Barry, or usually him and Andy. Tonight, he was stuck with Teddi, but he didn't mind.

"Did you get the salsa?" Chu asked Teddi as he ran back with the jar.

"Duh. Now start it." Teddi says as he plops down next to Chu on the couch, nachos and salsa between the two boys. Chu pressed Play, and the hilarity ensued.

"-sh." The intro ended, and the TV animation started showing various previews of videos. Chu and Teddi closed their eyes and just listened as they anticipated the funny moments that they're going to see soon anyway.

"We're gonna make you flip..." A thud and someone shouting in pain.

"So whet your appetite..." Splat, and someone crying. Chu's giggling already.

"For a rockin' good time!" Thwack. Just that made both Chu and Teddi start to laugh.

"It's SMHD!" They uncovered their eyes as they watched the host come out onto the stage, as the announcer said, "And now, a guy that hits as hard as a golf club to the head, Walt Drindinon!" Teddi whoops as the Wobbufet host comes to center stage saying "Thank you! Thank you! Welcome to SHD!"

Walt began his opening liners, like in all episodes.

"Welcome to SHD. Now, here's a show that's on public TV, airs next to reality TV, and doesn't suck." Chu and Teddi laugh. "And if you're laughing at that, wait till you see these next few people. Ouch."

The first video showed a backyard with 2 Gulpins walking (or slithering) around on the grass. Suddenly the wind picks up and the second Gulpin actually lands on the first, upside down. Chu laughs, Teddi doesn't.

The next video showed 2 Buizels swimming around underwater; the camera was underwater, too. The Buizels get ensnared in each other's tails, and one of them flails around until he hit the camera lens. Teddi laughs this time, but Chu...not so much.

The third showed a Squirtle and a Totodile a ways down the fairway on a golf course hole. The camera zooms out on them, shows the golfer-an Electabuzz- about to swing. Nothing bad happens as the ball flies off...until it hits Squirtle's shell and bounces off, nailing the Totodile in the eye. Both boys were laughing at that.

Again, another soliloquy from the host.

"I've played plenty of sports in my time, but things never went right for me. I couldn't hit baseballs, I couldn't catch footballs, I couldn't even play soccer. I see a little of myself in these next few guys and girls." Not funny in the least. Weird, both boys thought to themselves."...Okay, I don't. They do hit something." Now it's funnier, since Chu and Teddi giggle at that comment.

The first was a baseball clip of a Pikachu at the plate. The pitcher, a Machop, wound up, pitched, and the Pikachu swung. It hit...then THWACK! It hit the Machop between the legs. Chu was howling with laughter; crotch shots didn't really make Teddi laugh though.

The next clip was a soccer clip. Two kids, a Pichu and a Bulbasaur, are hitting a ball to each other in the living room. The Bulbasaur headbutted the ball a little too hard, and it ended up bouncing off the Pichu's head TWICE! Once to get it up, and the other on the way down. The Pichu just stopped, like he was confused. Teddi cracked up on that image, but Chu was focusing on nachos at that time.

The third one was a big football game. A bunch of Ground-type Pokemon in football helmets were about the blitz the Poison-typed opposition when suddenly a yellow flag was thrown...right into a Sandslash's helmet! He was waving his arms around, unable to see anything. The replay was even funnier, since they slowed it down to show how sweet the shot was. Both the boys were laughing so hard, they were hugging.

As the show went on, Chu had an idea. He paused in the middle of fast-forwarding through a string of hammock commercials and said, "Hey Ted. Let's try something. Let's actually try not to laugh at any of these videos. If one of us fails, the other tickles the loser mercilessly. Deal?"

Teddi grins and says, "Deal. Prepare to laugh."

The show continued. Next was a bunch of pet videos, which Teddi and Chu never laughed much at anyway, so it was easy.

Then they showed a few physical comedy videos. Teddi almost giggled at one video where a pinata accident ended in the stick-wielder hitting his uncle in the mouth. Chu wasn't having too much luck either, since 2 of those videos were either head or groin shots, which made him convulse with laughter most of the time.

And then, there came the massacre that was "How many crotch shots before the Tauros gets out of his bubble wrap?"

"Oh shoot!" Chu cried out as he tried looking away, but Teddi turned his head back to the screen. "No chickening out." Teddi teased him.

Whack! with a ball.

Thwack! with another ball.

BOOM! A kid with his dad.

Chu was on the ropes already, mouth covered, twitching, sweating a little, and then...

BAM!! A golf club right between the legs!

"PFFFT!!HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Chu just burst out laughing like an idiot! He knew he was in for it now!

Teddi immediately grinned his evil grin as he started digging his claws into Chu's shirt. "Loser! Loser! Tickle the loser!" He mocked as Chu laughed even harder from the tummy tickles.

Teddi started working his ticklish magic all over Chu's body, getting his sides, ribs (EEK!) and pits as well as his overly ticklish belly. Just this was enough to get Chu to keep laughing well after the clip was over. With the last of his strength, he was able to pause the show before Teddi tossed off his shirt, making him laugh even harder.

"STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!! I'M GONNA KIHIHIHILL YOU FOR THIHIHIHIHIHIS!!!" Chu was laughing so hard, he couldn't even move from his spot on the couch. All he could do was lay there and take the tickling like he had no choice. He was at least glad Teddi wasn't getting his feet.

...yet.

After about 10 minutes of the torture that was Teddi's tickle torture, Chu managed to sit up and grab his shirt before he realized he couldn't move his legs.

"What the-YIPE!!" Something just poked his foot. Something tickly. He immediately realized that Teddi had his legs trapped. Chu wiggled his feet helplessly as Teddi wriggled his claws dangerously close to his bare feet.

"Guess you should've worn socks today, Chu." Teddi said before he started raking his claws up and down.

Just that had Chu laughing up a storm. He was getting it everywhere; his soles, arches, and toes just kept getting scratched and scritched by Teddi's oh-so-sharp claws. Only when he moved down to the heels did Chu start laughing and squealing really, really loud. And when Teddi moved up to that sweet spot...

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!" Chu couldn't take it. He couldn't take the upper body torture, and he definitely couldn't take this. All he could do was laugh, laugh, and squeal some more, until even he couldn't hear his voice anymore. It was when he hit the silent laughter stage that Teddi stopped tickling.

Chu panted heavily, trying to catch his breath again. He just survived Teddi's torture yet again. It was worse than Barry, worse than Max's tickle machines, and possibly worse than...no it wasn't worse than that.

"Hehehe." Teddi chuckled to himself as he let Chu's feet go. Chu pulled them away instantly and started rubbing them to get the tingling off of them.

"You...you're a freakin' devil, man." Chu said to Teddi. "No more SMHD for you."

Teddi just grinned and said, "Oh, and by the way, the bet's still on." He grabbed the remote, pressed Play, and Chu got to see a Wartortle get smacked between the legs by a baseball.

Chu made the mistake of laughing at that, without even realizing it. He did, however, realize his legs were trapped again. He looked at Teddi, who had his feet trapped again, but this time, he stuck his tongue out, signifying only one thing...

"Aw, crap!"
